OU, AU, or OC? Original universe.
If canon, canon point: Just after the end of the film.
PB: N/A
Superhero Name: Sly Bunny
History: Here
Additional OC and AU Background: N/A
Personality: The first thing to understand about Judy is that she does not know when to quit. This is both a help, and a hindrance, in that it both got her through the police academy to the point where she graduated the police academy as valedictorian despite everyone telling her rabbits couldn't become cops, and also nearly cost her the badge she worked so hard to obtain when she kept pushing. She's prone to impulsive, reckless decisions, like leaving her post to catch a criminal, or taking an entire subway car as evidence when a single briefcase would've done. This is, in part due to a need to prove herself, and feeling the only way to do so is by completely impressing her naysayers.
She deeply cares about her fellow people. She became a police officer to help others. Despite being heavily focused on chasing down Duke Weaselton, she made a tremendous amount of effort to keep the citizens of Little Rodentia from being hurt. Even at her most prejudiced was still willing to see past her own bias to help out predators in need, a fact that has only become more evident as Judy's begun to recognize her own prejudices and work to correct them.
Judy is also fully willing to admit when she's wrong about something, and wholeheartedly apologizes when she's seriously wronged someone, as seen with Nick once she realized how badly she hurt him
Despite being a officer of the law, at times she's not above bending the rules for the greater good. Between blackmailing Nick to get his help, and taking advantage of a known mafia boss's willingness to repay her for saving his daughter's life, Judy's first week on the force was filled with slightly questionable decisions, mostly made to help save lives and bring peace back to Zootopia, the only personal gain in mind being getting to keep her job.
Judy maintains a generally high sense of optimism, originally to the point of naivete. It's been tempered by her exposure to the fact that Zootopia isn't the perfect place where predator and prey lived in harmony that she believed it was, but she still maintains a belief that, while the world isn't perfect and likely never will be, making it a better place for everyone isn't impossible.
While, again, impulsive and prone to occasionally being naive, she is extremely clever and resourceful once she gets going. Before her first month on the force was up, she'd broken open not one, but two government conspiracies, with the help of a professional conartist she herself had conned into coming along, mostly through the use of her wits rather than any physical ability.
Judy has a definite soft spot for children. It's a picture of Otterton's children that convinces her to look for him, is extremely pleased when she finds out that she's been named godmother to Fru-Fru's daughter, and even stops and plays ball with some passing kids. It's actually this fact that allows Nick to take advantage of her the first time, as she initially believed Finnick was a child.

SAMPLES
Prose Sample: 200 word minimum. You may use the following prompt or make up your own. Links to RP samples at other games are not accepted, you must write up a new prompt, but you may use them to supplement your samples. If your character is a quiet character, introspection or inner monologue is fine.
Your character is with the team at a fancy diplomatic party and a UP dignitary (Coluan, naturally, because man, that whole planet seems to be chock fill of arrogant dicks) has called into question the character's ability to be a Legionnaire and whether or not they, some weirdo interdimensional stranger, have the personal character to help protect the United Planets. How do they respond?
[OOC: Gonna switch it up a bit and have it be a Carggite for a few more facial expressions to play off of.]
"Well, sir" Judy answered, sipping her carrot juice thoughtfully, and looked back up at the triplicate man, " I was a police officer back home. Valedictorian of my class at the academy, actually." Although, in retrospect, she wasn't entirely sure how much of that decision had been influenced by politics. Judy's placement at Precinct 1 had been entirely political grandstanding, after all, even though she'd done her best to show she deserved it.
"I know that working in the biggest, and most diverse city on the planet isn't anywhere near the scale the Legion deal with, but I do have some experience to work from." She finished confidently. Sure, the scale was bigger than she'd ever imagined, but Judy had never been one to back down from a challenge, and she wasn't about to start now.
"And what was your position at this department? Records? Meter Maid?" One of Carggite responded snidely, his other two thirds snickering appreciatively at the comment.
Judy glared, but took a deep breath, She'd handled snide comments before, from everyone, even from Nick. Especially from Nick, who's own brand of snarky commentary she was missing right about now. If he didn't choose to ignore the diplomats entirely, he'd probably have some subtly sarcastic words on hand for them. Judy, on the other hand, was not so good at holding back, and didn't really want to at the moment.
"Actually," she replied as her glare morphed to obviously false cheer, "it's a long story, but my first case ended with me and my partner uncovering a government conspiracy. Two of them, actually, the mayor was covering up the effects of the assistant mayor's. And apparently, the Legion has a habit of doing things like that, so I guess I do have some relevant skills."
She watched all three Carggites as she spoke, and noticed as one of them inaudibly gulped when she mentioned uncovering a government conspiracy. That was certainly an interesting reaction, and Judy resolved to keep an eye on those three for the rest of the night.
Network Sample: 200 word minimum. You may use the following prompt or make up your own. Welcome to the Legion, rookie. As a way of helping your character cope with their circumstances and have an optimistic outlook towards the future, the existing Legionnaires want them to record a message to their future self with their thoughts on their current situation, what they hope to accomplish in their time with the Legion, and the first thing they want to do when they get sent safely home or to the dimension of their choice.
